The moment we begin to hurry, we begin to lose focus. The past few months have been a time of radical change.   People forced into optimizing and identifying what others deem as essential.  People reluctantly and painfully hurry to cut out activities.  It is time to slow down and regain focus.  Focus on what is true, pure, and healthy; Jesus Christ.  “Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

Happiness is denied by excessive poverty. Christians open the hand and help. It is humility and love that unites people. Parents say amusing things. For instance, if everyone jumped off a bridge, would you?", and “If you keep making that face, it'll freeze that way”.  Saying a thing does not make it happen.  What does is what people do.  Today it seems like the whole world is jumping off the bridge of logic. Christians won’t jump, instead they stand untied and live in harmony. They live with Love, show Courage, and enjoy Peace

Might Never Makes Right! When bad things happen, it can turn people’s lives upside down. Getting angry or quitting is wrong.  People respond or react in many different ways. It is sad when people react with “Fist of Violence” or give up, saying, “Everything is lost.” This is not true; there is HOPE! It is real people will go through difficult seasons, but they will get through. President Abraham Lincoln once said, “Let us have faith that right makes might and, in that faith, let us dare to do our duty.”  Do Right! That’s Mighty.

Maybe I should do a little more.  People are talking about Doing Good for their community, and this is a beautiful thing.  The chances are good that you have listened to a fascinating story, or heard a speech that has inspired emotions.  Talk is cheap; it’s time for action.  God has given us good health and the ability to think and to Do Good. “DO’ers of Good” beat the talkers.  Do some good today.

It’s not my fault.  Saying “It’s not my fault” is a common saying for a few people today.  Little kids seeking to get out of consequences for bad behavior say, “it’s not my fault” and then blame siblings or parents for their actions.  Taking personal responsibility for our actions, is a real sign of HOPE.  Christians lead the way for taking responsibility.  They never say “it’s not my fault” and they refuse to blame others for their mistakes. Christians are responsible.

The best thing anyone can do for the world is to be the best they can be.  Acting in a certain moral way produces fixed results.  Students who study will graduate, some with honors.  People who sleep right, eat right and think right create high-quality services.  There is no need to beg, borrow, or steal when people work and feel for the common good.  Christians serve God by loving and helping people.  That is the Way to be your BEST.

I want one good friend. People say they are wealthy if they have One Good Friend.  It's also been said that a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met.  If you look up the definition of a friend, you find something like; one who is attached to another by affection.  Life is more fulfilling when it is lived with a friend. The old saying goes, “if you want a friend, be a friend.”  Jesus Christ is that One Good Friend.

Did you know that on December 7, 1736, Benjamin Franklin co-founded the first fire department called the “Bucket Brigade”? Benjamin Franklin said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”  Everyone agrees that a little prevention is a good idea.   Like Benjamin Franklin, S.O.T.V. ReDO fitness promotes prevention. For example, taking care of your health now will help you later in life.  Staying healthy is having a Strong Mind-Body and Soul; fit people stay energized, feel happy, and are more willing to help others.
