According to Merriam-Webster, Security means the quality or state of being secure: such as freedom from danger, or freedom from fear or anxiety, or freedom from the prospect of being laid off/job security.  Security is as simple as staying together at S.O.T.V. ReDO fitness.  Together we can talk about our day and share the ups and downs.  Social gatherings keep us connected with friends and family members.  Security means freedom.

Where FAITH & FITNESS COME TOGETHER:  Of the People; For the People and With the People.

A pastor once said, "I'd rather attempt to do something great and fail, than to attempt to do nothing and succeed."  Robert H. Schuller (1996). When is the right time to do something now? NOW of course.  But most people don’t because they keep putting things off until tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year. The reasons people give are; lack of motivation, low self-confidence or the fear of failure.  Now is the Right time to do something. Remove excuses and get going.  God loves HIS people, He wants HIS people to enjoy life with no regrets. RIGHT NOW!

The reopening will happen, and that will be a good change. In the second phase, the CDC guidelines recommend going from 10 people at a time to 50 people together at one time.  Mark Twain said, “The Only Person Who Likes Change is a Wet Baby.” That is true for many people. Yet, change is a good thing.  The changes people are facing during the “Stay at Home Order” are opportunities to do good.  DO’ers of GOOD embrace change and welcome opportunities to make improvements. When you look back on how you invested your time during these changing times, you will be amazed at how God has blessed you with life-changing experiences.

What do you call a person who is always negative?  What is the punch line? There is none because negativity is no joke.  People who live in misery, fear, anxiety, and hopelessness have a negative expectation in life.  Negative people find fault as if there was a reward for it.  What do you call a person who is always positive? Ordinary, hard-working people who are looking for an opportunity even in difficulty. People typically get what they expect.  What will you expect? Reward yourself and expect, True Love, Pure Joy, Happiness and HOPE.

Working Hard

SERMON: Seizure Of The Heart

Text: John 20:15 “Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?”

Jesus Christ appears to Mary Magdalene, calmed her sorrows, fears and anxieties. As Christ renewed Mary, HE will also renew us.

Where FAITH & FITNESS COME TOGETHER:  Of the People; For the People and With the People.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.”  Americans agree with Dr. King Jr. because we understand the value of doing hard work. Americans work hard at taking care of things that are broken.  Big government and social programs cannot fix everything.  Pastor Chad encourages people to stay focus, keep doing hard work, and do the work that uplifts humanity. In short, take responsibility for our community with painstaking excellence.

Drive In: This Sunday you will be given Palm Branches.

The prayer walk or prayer drive follows the service and its optional:  Participants receive a Scripture Verse to remember; garbage bag and a pair of latex gloves.

PRAYER WALK HOW TO? Prayer Walking is simple - praying to GOD while walking [or driving] around. Instead of sitting inside a building, Christians COME OUT and march for the needs we see around us and bow our hearts to ask humbly for God to intervene. Pastor wants you to know that the Church will not compromise your wellness, and you can count on the S.O.T.V ReDO fitness Church to be a trusted servant and friend.

The Game Plan: TAKE ACTION!  Application Salvation is Christians doing what Jesus Christ and His Disciples did: WALK.  Essential Needs are Outdoor activities, such as walking, hiking, running, biking, hunting, or fishing. The Church will follow executive orders and get organized.   Groups of two will walk and pray for our Community, Neighbors, The State of Minnesota, the United States, and the World.

Where FAITH & FITNESS COME TOGETHER:  Of the People; For the People and With the People.

Some people can see clear thoughts in their minds while there are millions of people who can hardly focus on anything. The inability to concentrate the mind on one single idea for more than a few seconds is getting impossible for some.  Drinking doom and gloom has created a virus in the brain. The Symptoms included but not limited to: Mental laziness by letting the media think for us, unable to remember things, hard to sit still, difficulty thinking clearly, always losing stuff, and an inability to make choices.  This situation can be cured.  First, think Spring all things new! Then think Summer all things sunny and warm!  Finally, Take Action and clean house and toss out the junk.  Clearing out physical clutter improves how we feel, and so will tossing out the garbage in our minds.  Get rid of doom and gloom; it no longer serves you.

CLEAN and SAFE

SERMON: Rev. Chad A. Kirchoff

Text: John 9:3

Theme: “GOD’s Work”

Jesus Christ reminds us that HE is the Light of the world.  Jesus commands the Disciples to focus on GOD’s Works of Divine Purpose.

Where FAITH & FITNESS COME TOGETHER:  Of the People; For the People and With the People.

That old foe raises his head again. We are reminded of the challenges for some people’s Spiritual Vision or lack of.  They have a disability in their blindness to see the Victory of the Church. In their smallness, they see only the public happenings.  In their ignorance or worse, their willful ignorance, of the power of Jesus Christ. They have created panic, fear, chaos, sadness, and dangers all at the same time.  Stuff like this does raise the Christian’s blood. So, we ask daily for help, and God daily reminds us of Christ’s humility and His patience. We will follow HIS lead; we can do nothing else.  We know Christ has NEVER lost a battle. No, HE has never even lost one single debate.  CHRIST is VICTORIOUS, and so IS HIS CHRUCH.  Healthy Mind, Body, and Soul for our members and the City of Hastings is our focus. Nothing changes this.  The State of Minnesota and local agencies are providing guidelines and requiring temporary closures. Pending any changes issued by the Governor, closures end March 27, 2020. Back to CLEAN and SAFE, SOTV ReDO fitness demonstrates the highest standards of cleanliness by wiping down machines, surfaces, and disinfecting thoroughly, multiple times a day. Hand sanitizer and disinfecting cleaning stations located throughout the facility. Members are encouraged to wipe down the machines, top to bottom thoroughly. FIT IN

SERMON: Rev. Chad A. Kirchoff

Text: Exodus 17:6

Theme: “Rock-N-Water”

There are times when we all have grumbled against God. Come hear how GOD deals with unfaithfulness and quenches the thirst of grumbling people.

Where FAITH & FITNESS COME TOGETHER:  Of the People; For the People and With the People.

People need to be around each other.  To be healthy, all people need social gathering places; it is because humans are social creatures. Coming together as a people has kept the human race alive ever since Adam and Eve.  Isolation is not suitable for people.  For example, when a child moves to a new school at first, they feel odd and left out; making friends is hard, and fitting in is difficult for all ages. People come together at S.O.T.V. ReDO fitness; Mind-Body and Soul.  They fit in because they share similarities, and that is the first step in developing a true friendship.

King Jesus comes to sinners, He is the promise of salvation that is realized through Faith, by Grace.

Where FAITH & FITNESS COME TOGETHER:  Of the People; For the People and With the People.

What does it take to succeed? What's the missing key? You will often find in life that there are three kinds of people; those who DO, those who don't DO, and those who talk about those who DO.  It takes skills to navigate life's many challenges successfully.  Every day S.O.T.V.
