BEST THINGS ARE FREE

Where FAITH & FITNESS COME TOGETHER:  Of the People; For the People and With the People.

The most valuable possessions people have do not cost any money. This does not mean that things do not cost money, rather it means money should not be prioritized over GOD’s LOVE and HIS free gifts, like family and friends. God’s GIFT of Salvation and HIS GRACE for all people is the Most Valuable Gift people have, and in the end, are worth more than anything money could buy. If you find yourself singing the song, “that the best things in life are free”, you are RIGHT, and remember that money and material objects are not the most important things in life.

Old Dog New Tricks

Where FAITH & FITNESS COME TOGETHER:  Of the People; For the People and With the People.

Learning is not always easy. It’s like physical fitness; it takes perseverance, diligence, hard work, and ambition. When learning becomes uncomfortable, some people will stop and exclaim, “well, you know, you can’t teach old dogs new tricks.”  Pastor Chad promotes, “Keep learning anyway.” Remember, people are not canines, and education is not a bag of tricks. Many times, people look at others as they think they are, instead of seeing people in the LIGHT of what they are in the EYES of GOD. A SOUL! Educated Christians lead the way in seeing the SHINING SOUL, rather than a person’s lifestyle, gender, age, religion or nationality.

ENOUGH NUMBING

Where FAITH & FITNESS COME TOGETHER:  Of the People; For the People and With the People.

Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 3 says, “This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man."  The world is full of good advice and catch phrases people use as excuses to live weak in ways they want to. “To thine own self” keeps people small and unfocused. Like saying, “This is who I am, and I will do what I want to do.” The TRUTH is people avoid the reality of self by numbing out on food, alcohol, work, shopping, and other bad habits or addictions. ENOUGH with the numbing! Come Get back In Touch with The TRUTH!  DO you want something different? DO you know someone who wants something different? Then DO something different!
